
DDI Connect
Department of Design and Digital Innovation, Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics organized DDI CONNECT on April 30, 2022, at FYI Center, Rama IV, Bangkok. DDI Connect aims to expand direct knowledge and experiences from real entrepreneurs, practitioners, experts, professionals, and mentors in the digital age market. DDI CONNECT was opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Dean of Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics.Real Sandbox Business is one of the key achievements of Design and Digital Innovation program. Currently, DDI students are on the process of preparing their real business model. The well-prepared team will receive funding from the Assumption University. Therefore, DDI CONNECT was held to shape up their businesses.
DDI CONNECT is an interactive session, current DDI students have great opportunity to connect directly to entrepreneurs, practitioners, experts, professionals, and mentors. Dr. Panjarat Phumpradab, Chairperson Department of Design and Digital Innovation gradually introduced the special talk according to the remarkable topics. Firstly, Khun Kalaya Kovidvisith, Co-founder, FabCafe Bangkok initiated major concern of the importance of design and Innovation in startup business. Next, Thailand Start-up Investment Landscape was demonstrated by Khun Kampanat Vimolnoht, Executive Director, Krungsri Finnovate. In addition, the vibrant business field of healthcare and wellness also introduced by Khun Pattapong Ranuraksa and Khun Taneth Jiraswakedelok, Co-founders, Divana.
In the light of stage, Student pitch and popular vote was held to prepare current DDI students to propose their initial business ideas to practitioners, experts, and mentors. The real pitching situation motivate DDI student to pursue their business ideas in multidimensions.
Last but not least, DDI student also gain advantages to connect through collaborative mentors from faculties of Assumption University regarding to their related business.
